Mercury is set to transit on October 29, 2024. It’s moving from the friendly sign Libra into Scorpio, and this transit is going to be a bit longer this time because Mercury will go retrograde and then go direct again. So, it’ll be in Scorpio from October 29 until January 4, 2025.

First up, Mercury will align with Venus, but they won’t be a conjunction as they are not perfectly aligned in degrees. Venus is pretty advanced in degrees as it entered Scorpio long back on September 22, 2024, and Mercury is just about to enter Scorpio on October 29. Even though Venus and Mercury won't be in a perfect conjunction when Mercury enters Scorpio, the proximity still allows for a kind of synergy between their energies.
